Markflix

Markflix is the name of my home media server, which runs Plex, a streaming platform where users can host their own media libraries and watch their videos from any device, anywhere. It also allows users to share their libraries with their friends, who can then access the content from their own devices, with no restrictions on location.

In order to get access to Markflix, you’ll first need to create a Plex account. Once that’s done, just let me know your username or email address you used, and I can share my libraries with you.

Plex has apps for most streaming devices, smart TVs, mobile devices, and video game consoles, but I recommend a Roku or AppleTV for the best experience. The apps are free, but there is a small, one-time in-app purchase to use the app on your smart phone (I think it’s $5).

Requests

Once you have access to Markflix, you can also request TV shows or movies! To do that, go to markflix.markcorsillo.com and sign in with your Plex account. Once requested, it should show up in Markflix within a few hours (if it’s available).

Markflix is powered by a variety of services that work together to reduce the manual effort to maintain my libraries.
